Across every culture, and every generation, two things have always brought people together:
music, and great food.
And I'm not here to sing.
This is food shaped long before we arrived — by heritage, by roots, by soil. Every stop is a taste of what the Highlands and its coastline have spent generations perfecting, carried forward by the hands that still do it properly today.
Over the course of an afternoon, we'll explore Inverness together, stopping at some of my favourite places in the city. We've combined the best of modern Inverness with the timeless flavours that make Scottish food famous.
This isn't another tourist trap.
This is an invitation to celebrate Highland food and culture with a real local.
Wild botanicals. Organic produce. Ingredients grown from Highland soil. Flavours that have nourished generations. Every landscape leaves its mark on the food it produces — and every bite tells a part of Scotland's story.

We begin in the shadow of Inverness Castle, with hearty Highland pub classics to line your stomach for what's ahead.
A playful detour into one of Inverness's historic corners — a taste from the sea, and a spirited pairing, if you're brave enough.
An elevated tasting built on the best Scottish ingredients — local honey, west coast sea salt, artisan cheese, and Highland-grown botanicals.
A relaxed stop for wood-fired fare and a local craft pour, Highland-style.
A classic Scottish sweet and a dram of whisky to close the journey on a warming note — and get you back to your roots.
The Highlands have a way of reminding you what matters — fresh air, good company, honest food. And nowhere quite captures that feeling like Inverness. That's what inspired me to create Highland Foodie Experiences: a guided journey through the city, celebrating the flavours that make the Highlands so special.
Having grown up here, I have a lifelong passion for delicious food, warm hospitality, and bringing like-minded people together. Whether you're travelling alone or sharing the journey with family or friends, I know you'll leave with a full stomach, great memories, and a deeper connection to the Highlands.

Our food and drink walking tours are now available 7 days a week, by private enquiry only
Tours are priced for a minimum of four guests. Smaller parties are very welcome — an additional booking fee applies, and we’ll confirm the total price with you before anything is booked.

Our tour follows a set menu, built entirely around the best of Scottish food and drink. Because of our limited availability, we're not able to offer substitutions on the day — this experience is about Scottish cuisine at its finest, rather than catering to every diet. If you have a severe allergy, please get in touch before booking so we can advise.
This tour is strictly 18+, as it includes three alcoholic drinks along the way.
